The portfolio was published on the occasion of the demolition of the old locomotive depot to the east of Basel's SBB railway station, on the site of which the Bahnhof Ost project was built. Balthasar Burkhard photographed the locomotive depot in October and December 1992, Martin Roda Becher wrote the text at the end of 1992.

Erläuterungen

Das Portfolio erschien anlässlich des Abbruchs des alten Lokdepots östlich des Basler Bahnhofs SBB, auf dessen Gelände das Projekt Bahnhof Ost entstand. Balthasar Burkhard fotografierte das Lokdepot im Oktober und Dezember 1992, Martin Roda Becher schrieb den Text dazu Ende 1992.
