On the original chassis, in the old mount. Lower right in blue with small colour break. In very good condition

Comments

A colourful work in which the composition is emphasised by the use of broad brushes. It was exhibited shortly after its completion at the Kunsthalle Basel in 1959 together with works by Appel, Mathieu and Moreni.

Auf dem originalen Chassis, in der alten Montierung. Unten rechts im Blau mit kleinem Farbausbruch. In sehr guter Erhaltung

Erläuterungen

Ein farbenfrohes Werk, in dem die Komposition durch die Verwendung breiter Pinsel betont wird. Es wurde kurz nach seiner Fertigstellung in der Kunsthalle Basel 1959 zusammen mit Werken von Appel, Mathieu und Moreni ausgestellt.
