In very good condition
In 2001, the Marian Goodman Gallery in New York held a highly acclaimed solo exhibition for Orozco entitled "Fear Not". It comprised sculptures, drawings, photographs and a video, including imprints of the artist's hand, imprints of leaves, Japanese decorative stencils and geometric patterns. Born in Mexico, Orozco is one of the leading conceptual and installation artists of his generation. His diverse artistic practice is based on his rejection of the concept of a traditional studio. He generally lives in one place for a certain period of time and incorporates elements of his immediate surroundings into his work. In Paris in 1993, for example, he dismantled the body of a Citroën DS lengthways into three parts, left out the centre section and reassembled the outer parts. In Berlin in 1995, he created a monument to his outdated yellow scooter by photographing it together with all the scooters of the same make and colour that he encountered, which became known as "Until You Find Another Yellow Schwalbe". In the present collage, the immediacy of his handprint and the conceptual intervention with three round, raised stencils creates a field of tension.

In sehr guter Erhaltung
In Paris z. You Find Another Yellow Schwalbe".
