Comments

In addition to 5 artist's copies, Picasso created an edition of 50 numbered copies of this subject. Contrary to the date given by Mourlot, according to Ulrike Gauss, the lithograph was made on 30 March 1954, which correspond to the date printed in the upper left margin.

Neben 5 Künstlerexemplaren schuf Picasso von diesem Sujet eine Auflage von 50 nummerierten Exemplaren. Entgegen der Datumsangabe bei Mourlot ist die Lithographie nach Ulrike Gauss am 30. März 1954 entstanden, entsprechend der gedruckten Datierung im oberen Rand links.
