Beautiful print. The paper minimally browned, with slight lightstruck. A small loss in the blue. On the reverse with traces of old mounting and minimal paper loss. In good condition

Comments

The first of a total of four linocuts on the theme of "Bacchanale", which Picasso created in Cannes in November 1959. From the group of copies of the Édition of the Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, from 1960, which were intended for artist and publisher. The sheet was printed by Hidalgo Arnéra.

Der erste von insgesamt vier Linolschnitten zum Thema "Bacchanale", die Picasso im November 1959 in Cannes schuf. Aus der Gruppe der Exemplare der Édition der Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, von 1960, die für Künstler und Verleger bestimmt waren. Das Blatt wurde bei Hidalgo Arnéra gedruckt.
