In 1922, the Neapolitan Vincenzo Irolli exhibited a painting entitled "Pesci" at the XIII Venice Biennale. Fish were an important theme in his work, as this painting depicting a fish market shows.

Erläuterungen

1922 stellte der Neapolitaner Vincenzo Irolli an der XIII. Biennale in Venedig u.a. ein Gemälde mit dem Titel "Pesci" aus. Fische waren ein wichtiges Thema in seinem Werk, wie das vorliegende Gemälde mit der Darstellung eines Fischmarktes zeigt.
