On greyish laid paper, with a loss at lower left corner, with a small hole at the bottom as well as a hole due to a tearing nail, the outermost margins slightly compressed in places and with a few tears
The second figure from the left is depicted twice; on the left edge of the picture the artist sketches the first female figure from the right of the oil painting of 1903 (cf. Bätschmann/Müller 1348), which is in the deposit of the Gottfried Keller Foundation in the Kunsthaus Zurich and which he created for an exhibition in the Vienna Secession

Auf gräulichem Bütten, mit einer Fehlstelle in der linken unteren Ecke, mit einem Löchlein unten sowie Reissnagellöchlein, die äussersten Ränder stellenweise leicht gestaucht und mit wenigen Einrissen
Dargestellt ist zweimal die zweite Figur von links, am linken Bildrand skizziert der Künstler die erste weibliche Figur von rechts des Ölgemäldes von 1903 (vgl. Bätschmann/Müller 1348), das sich im Depositum der Gottfried Keller-Stiftung im Kunsthaus Zürich befindet und das er für eine Ausstellung in der Wiener Secession geschaffen hat
