In beautiful dark patina, the seated figure is set in different shades of colour
Figures of girls and women play a central role in the artist's paintings and sculptures. They appear as lying, standing, sitting or floating bodies, their facial features often only hinted at. In our example, a girl in a dance dress sits at the foremost edge of an elevation, her hands supported backwards, her head turned forward. Fascinating work created in an edition of 12 copies in 2003
