On a wooden base, the sculpture slightly bumped in some places and with small missing parts and rubbed off areas, overall in good condition.
James Lee Byars has a close relationship with Venice; he participated in the Biennale in 1975, 1980 and 1986 with actions, and in the 1980s the city temporarily became his main residence. The present "Objet trouvé", which Byars turns into a work of art, belongs thematically to the works in which he deals with death.

Das vorliegende "Objet trouvé", das Byars zum Kunstwerk macht, gehört thematisch zu den Arbeiten, in denen er sich mit dem Tod auseinandersetzt
