Comments

Picasso created a first state on a zinc plate on 25 May 1949 and had five prints printed. Five days later he took out the zinc plate again, erased the drawing and created a completely new one in a larger format. The artist also created a very large etching of this representation at the same time

Erläuterungen

Picasso schuf am 25. Mai 1949 auf einer Zinkplatte einen ersten Zustand und liess fünf Abzüge drucken. Fünf Tage später holte er die Zinkplatte wieder hervor, löschte die Zeichnung und schuf eine völlig neue im grösseren Format. Der Künstler hat gleichzeitig auch eine sehr grosse Radierung dieser Darstellung geschaffen
