In the old nailing and on the original stretcher. Impeccable condition
Massimo Campigli, who was born Max Ihlenfeld in Berlin, presented compositions with figures and women in window niches in his extensive œuvre as early as the 1940s. In the following years he took up this theme again and again, slightly modified, as figures in a theatre hall. He found motif and architectural models in Arabic imagery, but also in Etruscan and Roman excavations.
