A small, charming still life with roses; a subject that often appears in the work of Augusto Giacometti and always fascinated him.
The work formerly belonged to Dr. Erwin Poeschel, who was very close to the artist. In his will, Giacometti left Poeschel a large part of the works of art from his estate
