On wove paper (papier vélin), with watermark "ARCHES", the left edge of the sheet slightly trimmed, with a pencil mark at lower and left margin, at the back side with remains of an old mounting, in good condition.
Design for a motif in Lena Leclercq's publication "Pomme endormie", which the artist discarded. Only this copy has become known to the authors of the catalogue raisonné
