An extremely expressive painting in a very impasto style. The evening moon bathes the whole scene in a rich red-gold. Under a blooming tree of life there is a mother with her child; at the top left, the mystical animal pays tribute to the pointillist accents in the painting

Erläuterungen

Ein äusserst expressives Gemälde in sehr pastoser Malweise. Der Mond am Abend taucht die ganze Szene in ein sattes Rot-Gold. Unter dem blühenden Lebensbaum sitzt die Mutter mit dem Kind; das mystische Tier oben links würdigt die pointillistischen Akzente in der Malerei
