Málaga 1881 - 1973 Mougins
1946
Etching, copperplate engraving and scraper, printed in green
27x35.2 cm, platemark; 37.8x53.5 cm, sheet size
Baer 731/VI Bloch 1349
Printed on very strong Japan paper, with wide margins. With a slight light margin, in deep green ink, with traces of burr. Contrary to Baer's information, the plate is not polished compared to the 5th state, the print with strong plate tone
Of great rarity. Baer names only 11 copies of this state, all printed by Louis Fort. There are only isolated proofs of all 6 states from the sheet created in Golfe-Juan in late August/early September 1946 in elaborate engraving work. One edition was never printed and the plate is now lost
1946
Radierung, Kupferstich und Schabeisen, in Grün gedruckt
27x35,2 cm, Plattenkante; 37,8x53,5 cm, Blattgrösse
Baer 731/VI. Bloch 1349
