On strong watercolour paper, three corners with slight creases
The watercolour is a study for the oil painting "Turm des Verlagshauses, Der Bund" (CR No. 1922.06) and for the woodcut "Das Verlagshaus, Der Bund, in Bern" (Stauffer 44) - In 1909-1911, the "Bund" building was constructed at Effingerstrasse 1-3 by the architects Eduard Rybi and Ernst Salchli for the newspaper and printing house. The tower is its monumental conclusion

Das Aquarell ist eine Studie zum Ölgemälde "Turm des Verlagshauses, Der Bund" (WK Nr. 1922.06) und zum Holzschnitt "Das Verlagshaus, Der Bund, in Bern" (Stauffer 44) - 1909-1911 wurde an der Effingerstrasse 1-3 das "Bund"-Haus von den Architekten Eduard Rybi und Ernst Salchli für Zeitung und Druckerei erstellt. Der Turm ist dessen monumentaler Abschluss
