Known primarily for his colourful kinetic forms, the Hungarian-born artist created works in the mid-1950s in the "Period Noir-Blanc" in which he playfully explored the contrast between the colours white and black. Here he took up his earlier graphic studies and continued his works with linear nets or wave-like deformations
