The Fujita San in question is presumably Shinichiro Fujita, the director of the Ohara Museum at the time, whom Sam Francis probably met through the Minami Gallery in Tokyo

Vermutlich handelt es sich bei dem besagten Fujita San um Shinichiro Fujita, dem damaligen Direktor des Ohara Museums, den Sam Francis wohl über die Minami Gallery in Tokyo kennengelernt hatte
