Condition

Perfect early impression with fully visible border line, before all chipping in the border line. On paper with watermark "Bekröntes Krüglein mit einem Henkel und Blume", compare Briquet 12618, as desired for early prints. This watermark occurs in similar form over a longer period of time, from about 1480 to 1555. Briquet gives the dates 1483 to 1486 for 12618. Good condition, with light centerfold and minimal restorations. Of greatest rarity in this quality. New Hollstein mentions only 3 prints for his a-variant

Zustand

Tadelloser Frühdruck mit voll sichtbarer Einfassungslinie, vor allen Ausbrüchen in der Randlinie. Auf Papier mit Wasserzeichen "Bekröntes Krüglein mit einem Henkel und Blume", vgl. Briquet 12618, wie für Frühdrucke gewünscht. Dieses Wasserzeichen kommt in ähnlicher Form über eine längere Zeitspanne vor, von ca. 1480 bis 1555. Bei Briquet werden für 12618 die Daten 1483 bis 1486 genannt. Gut in der Erhaltung, mit leichter Mittelfalte und minimalen Restaurierungen. In dieser Qualität von grösster Seltenheit. New Hollstein nennt für seine a-Variante lediglich 3 Drucke
