Aarau 1973-1974, Aargauer Kunsthaus, Der Fall Emma Kunz, cat. no. 49/079, label on the reverse
On graph paper, with a few pinholes at the outer margins, the upper edge of the sheet minimally creased.
Emma Kunz, the well-known mystic, naturopath and researcher, has created a comprehensive oeuvre of drawings, which was first shown to the public in an exhibition in 1973 by the then director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Prof. Heiny Widmer, and generated a great response. At the same time, her works point far beyond an artistic aspect: for Emma Kunz, they are the "working basis" for her questions, which she explores by means of a pendulum, which she also uses to help her patients with medical and psychological problems and puts the answer on paper. The present composition is an exciting example of her working method.
