Related, but not verbatim, to the letter (Delfs 3418), dated 11 October 1937. Kirchner would like to frenounce to the exhibition in Basel at this time. However, it took place from 30 October to 21 November 1937 and was the last major exhibition before Kirchner's suicide in June 1938

Verwandt, aber nicht wortgetreu mit dem Brief (Delfs 3418), datiert vom 11. Oktober 1937. Kirchner möchte zur Zeit auf die Ausstellung in Basel verzichten. Sie fand aber vom 30. Oktober bis 21. November 1937 statt und war die letzte grosse Ausstellung vor Kirchners Suizid im Juni 1938
