Important, large-format view of the harbour of Honfleur in a stormy sea. Maurice de Vlaminck left behind in his artistic œuvre, in addition to the actual landscapes, some lesser known but all the more exciting harbour pieces. Here he was able to work painterly with the moving representation of the elements of water and air

Maurice de Vlaminck hinterlässt in seinem künstlerischen Œuvre neben den eigentlichen Landschaften auch einige weniger bekannte, aber desto spannendere Hafenstücke. Hier konnte er malerisch mit der bewegten Darstellung der Elemente Wasser und Luft arbeiten
