The sheet was created in 1914 in the study of Professor Botho Graef in Jena. Impressions are very rare, Gercken knows only 6 copies

Botho Graef was a professor of classical archaeology at the Universität Jena, Hugo Biallowons his student and friend. Both belonged to E.L. Kirchner's circle of friends. Hugo Biallowons was killed in action at the front in 1916
