Impeccable condition
One of the enigmatic drawings from the early 1970s. With fine, precisely placed lines, Markus Raetz creates an atmospherically dense interior in which he explores not only space and time, but also psychological states, at times with a subtle touch of eroticism. His subtle, often underlying humor is always present and hides in seemingly incidental details, here for example in the glass with toothbrush and toothpaste. The drawing thus becomes a mirror of an inner reality and invites the viewer to explore the interplay of seeing, thinking, and feeling, and to question their own perception.
