With drawing pin holes at three corners, the lower left corner with minimal bumping. On the reverse, remnants of old mounting. Overall in fine condition
One of the characteristic shadow plays with which Markus Raetz explores the possibilities of perception in a manner that is as simple as it is astonishing. With finely graduated light-dark contrasts, he creates a surprising spatial presence and an effect that goes far beyond what is depicted. The reduction of formal means is combined with exceptional precision, making the act of seeing itself the true subject of the sheet. The present example was dedicated in 1982 to his important Parisian gallerist Farideh Cadot, giving it a special personal and documentary appeal.

Insgesamt in sehr schöner Erhaltung
