Condition

Two neatly backed tears at the upper right and in the centre. Smaller backed tears at the lower edge. Slight light-struck area and few signs of use in the paper. Fine condition

Commentaires

The sheet shows the violinist Eva Mudocci (1872-1953) - see also the portrait Woll 244 and lot 884 - and the pianist Bella Edwards (1866-1954). Concerts by the two musicians in Norway are recorded for the year 1902, with further concerts following in 1904, 1907 and 1909.

The copy offered here was produced in 1903 in a small edition by Lassally in Berlin and is an exceptionally beautiful impression of the first state, still without the piano stool.

Zustand

Oben rechts und in der Mitte zwei sauber hinterlegte Einrisse. An der Unterkante kleinere hinterlegte Risse. Leichter Lichtrand und wenige Gebrauchsspuren im Papier. Schöne Erhaltung

Erläuterungen

Das Blatt zeigt die Violinistin Eva Mudocci (1872-1953) (vgl. auch das Porträt Woll 244 und Los 884) und die Pianistin Bella Edwards (1866-1954). Für das Jahr 1902 sind Konzerte der beiden Musikerinnen in Norwegen überliefert, weitere Konzerte folgten 1904, 1907 und 1909.

Das hier angebotene Exemplar entstand 1903 in kleiner Auflage bei Lassally in Berlin und ist ein ausgesprochen schöner Abzug des ersten Zustandes noch ohne den Klavierstuhl.
