The drawing belongs to a group of works with a similar theme, which were titled "Mélancolie" by André Lhote. It could also be a study for the painting "Reclining Woman", which is in the collection of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Arts (inv. No. 34-134) And was a gift from Paul Rosenberg to the museum.

Die Zeichnung gehört zu einer Gruppe von Werken, die eine ähnliche Thematik haben und von André Lhote mit "Mélancolie" betitelt wurden. Es könnte sich auch um eine Studie zu dem Gemälde "Reclining Woman" handeln, das sich in der Sammlung des Nelson Atkins Museum of Arts (Inv. Nr. 34-134) befindet und ein Geschenk von Paul Rosenberg an das Museum war.
