Commentaires

In 1963 Eberhard W. Kornfeld traveled to Paris together with four female colleagues and, in addition to visiting Marc Chagall, also met Alberto Giacometti there. The sketch is said to have been created spontaneously during a meeting in a restaurant in Paris on a paper tablecloth and probably depicts E.W. Kornfeld lower right as well as two colleagues.

Erläuterungen

1963 reiste Eberhard W. Kornfeld zusammen mit vier Mitarbeiterinnen nach Paris und besuchte dort nebst Marc Chagall auch Alberto Giacometti. Die Skizze soll spontan während eines Treffens in einem Restaurant in Paris auf einem Papiertischtuch entstanden sein und stellt wohl E.W. Kornfeld unten rechts sowie zwei Mitarbeiterinnen dar.
