After the edition of 60 copies, which appeared in the special edition of the publication "André Salmon, Chagall, Paris, Chronique du Jour, 1928", only a few artist's proofs like the present one were printed on larger paper in 1957.

Unten rechts vom Künstler in Bleistift signiert "Marc Chagall", links von anderer Hand bezeichnet "épreuve d'artiste", im Unterrand links von weiterer Hand mit Titelangabe und Datum
