Fresh in colour and in very good condition
Eugène Boudin is especially known for his beach and harbour scenes. As the son of a harbour pilot, these subjects were very familiar to him. He worked as a cabin boy on a steam-powered ferry between Le Havre and Honfleur as early as the age of ten.

Eugène Boudin ist besonders für seine Strand- und Hafenszenen bekannt. Als Sohn eines Hafenlotsen waren ihm diese Sujets sehr vertraut. Er arbeitete bereits im Alter von zehn Jahren als Schiffsjunge auf einer dampfgetriebenen Fähre zwischen Le Havre und Honfleur.
