Verso with traces of old mounting. In very good condition
The detailed drawing shows the dining room in the Giacometti family home in Stampa. There are everyday objects such as a coffee pot and a teapot arranged on the sideboard alongside bottles and pewter plates. The room is dominated by the typical barrel-vaulted ceiling. In the foreground, we see the backrest of a chair with an owl motif. These chairs were carved by the father, Giovanni Giacometti, who made the backrests in the form of owls for Alberto and his three siblings: Diego (1902-1985), Ottilia (1904-1937) and Bruno (1907-2012).

Rückseitig mit Spuren einer alten Montierung. In sehr guter Erhaltung
