Minimally browned with small stains. Perfect, deep black impression in very fine condition with title, without the addresses in the lower margin.
Very rare in this print quality and in such good condition. Alongside the depiction "Lion de l'Atlas", this is one of the two major prints in Delacroix's graphic oeuvre. The prints were made in Paris in 1829-1830, when Degas was barely 30 years old. They are based on studies in the zoological garden in Paris and probably on stories.

Minim gebräunt mit Fleckchen. Tadelloser, tiefschwarzer Druck in sehr schöner Erhaltung mit Titel, ohne die Adressen im Unterrand.
In dieser Druckqualität und in so guter Erhaltung sehr selten. Neben der Darstellung "Lion de l’Atlas" eines der beiden Hauptblätter im graphischen Werk von Delacroix. Die Darstellungen wurden 1829-1830 vom kaum 30-jährigen Künstler in Paris geschaffen. Die Arbeiten gehen auf Studien im zoologischen Garten in Paris und wohl auf Erzählungen zurück.
