On strong, light brown wove paper (papier vélin), slightly bumped at the edges; On cream wove paper (papier vélin), in good condition; On cream wove paper (papier vélin), slightly foxed
For the two lithographs with the woman's head, Cuno Amiet took Ferdinand Hodler's work "Portrait of Lina Crot / The Smile", 1916, (Bätschmann/Müller 1024) as a model. It is probably a preparatory work for Amiet's poster for the 1921 Ferdinand Hodler exhibition in Bern (von Mandach 114). The second work was intended for display in railway carriages. The third work in the collection is a commemorative sheet for the exhibition of old and new Belgian art in Bern in 1926 (after a painting by P. Breughel the Elder in the Brussels Museum).
