The present painting "Mountain Landscape with Working Farm Women" from 1929 was not yet known at the time of the publication of the catalogue of Giovanni Giacometti's oil paintings. It shows peasant women making hay in the surroundings of Capolago and belongs to the group of paintings that Giacometti painted in the summer of 1929 (Müller/Radlach 1929.28-1929.30)

Das vorliegende Gemälde "Gebirgslandschaft mit arbeitenden Bäuerinnen" von 1929 war zum Zeitpunkt des Erscheinens des Werkkataloges mit den Ölgemälden von Giovanni Giacometti noch nicht bekannt. Es zeigt Bäuerinnen beim Heuen in der Umgebung von Capolago und gehört in die Gruppe von Gemälden, die Giacometti im Sommer 1929 malte (Müller/Radlach 1929.28-1929.30)
