On cream wove paper (papier vélin). Sheet minimally foxed and with a horizontal fold. Inscribed by the artist in pen and ink at lower right: "You don't / have to wonder about the peculiar subject, but only / when I had finished it / it occurred to me to / give it to you K St."

Auf cremefarbenem Velin. Blatt minim stockfleckig und mit einem horizontalen Falz. Unten rechts vom Künstler in Feder in Tinte vermerkt: "Du musst Dich nicht / wundern über das sonder- / bare Thema, aber erst / als ich es fertig hatte / kam mir in den / Sinn es Dir zu / geben K St."
