"Anémones et orange" is an extremely charming work by Félix Vallotton. The artist was particularly interested in the different textures of the individual objects. Thus, in the present still life, he skilfully arranges several objects with different-looking materials to form a whole and yet also allows each one to appear in its own special way

Auf dem originalen Chassis, in alter Nagelung. In tadelloser und farbfrischer Erhaltung
"Anémones et orange" ist ein äusserst reizvolles Werk von Félix Vallotton. Der Künstler war vor allem an den verschiedenen Texturen der einzelnen Objekte interessiert. So arrangiert er im vorliegenden Stillleben mehrere Objekte mit verschieden wirkenden Materialien geschickt zu einem Ganzen zusammen und lässt doch auch jedes einzelne in seiner speziellen Art wirken
