    Commentaires

"Incidentally, every genuine work of art has an "object of representation", it consists in its fundamental idea; this idea is the content, be it naturalistic, abstract or concrete. So there is no such thing as art without an object or art without an object; it would then be without content, and consequently it would not be art, but empty decoration." (Max Bill, from: "Vom Sinn der Begriffe in der neuen Kunst").

We thank Jakob Bill for the information
