Commentaires

In addition to his extensive oeuvre of paintings, Cuno Amiet also left behind some sculptural works, which he rarely depicted in his paintings. His bust of Alberto Giacometti as a boy and that of Ferdinand Hodler are particularly well-known.

Erläuterungen

Neben seinem umfangreichen malerischen Oeuvre hinterliess Cuno Amiet auch einige plastische Arbeiten, die er seltener auch auf seinen Gemälden abbildete. Bekannt ist vor allem seine Büste von Alberto Giacometti als Knabe und jene von Ferdinand Hodler
