The small village on the Lot is picturesquely situated on the cliffs above the river and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Henri Martin settled at the beginning of the 20th century in Labastide-du-Vert, a nearby village. From then on he created numerous landscapes in the Departement du Lot

Die kleine Ortschaft am Lot liegt malerisch auf den Klippen oberhalb des Flusses und gilt als eines der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs. Henri Martin liess sich Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in Labastide-du-Vert, einer Ortschaft in näherer Umgebung nieder. Fortan schuf er zahlreiche Landschaften im Departement du Lot
